How a sixty second episode gets made

How long does one episode take to shoot?

Urban Operas shoots roughly twenty pages a day across a three day schedule, which yields a full series of about sixty five episodes.

That pace only works because the scripts arrive finished. There is no coverage to fix a flat scene later, so the work happens on paper first.

Why sixty seconds?

A minute is long enough to land a turn and short enough that stopping feels like a decision rather than a habit.

Every episode is built around a hook in the opening seconds and a cliffhanger at the close.
